La’Cassie looking to keep roll going

After a tough start to the 2015 Web.com Tour season Bronson La’Cassie turned things around in emphatic fashion last start and will looking to keep the roll going at this week’s Rex Hospital Open.

"BronsonLa’Cassie is one of 13 Australians teeing
up this week and after making just his second cut for the year at the BMW
tournament a fortnight ago parlayed a good start into a T4 result, his best on
the Web.com Tour since 2013.

La’Cassie is just one of several
Australians in need of a turnaround in form as the season reaches its halfway
stage with several languishing well down the money list.

Only four Australians are inside the top-50
on the list, Rod Pampling, Mathew Goggin, Steve Allan and Rhein Gibson all in
the top-25 and rookie Oliver Goss next best in 50th position.

An almost full complement of 13 Australians
will tee up in North Carolina this week, Rod Pampling the only Web.com regular
missing as he plays the PGA TOUR’s Byron Nelson tournament on invitation.

Nick Flanagan, Alistair Presnell, Ash Hall,
James Nitties, Steve Allan, Aron Price, Mathew Goggin, Adam Crawford and
rookies Rhein Gibson, Bryden Macpherson, Brett Drewitt and Oliver Goss take
their place in the field alongside La’Cassie at the TPC Wakefield Plantation
course.

This event has not proved a successful one
for Australians with only one player from these shores, Mark Hensby, capturing
the title in its 21 year history.

James Nitties, Steve Allan and Aron Price
may be able to pull each other along as they have been paired together for the
first two rounds.
