Nathan Holman spearheads a strong contingent of Australia’s Asian Tour players at this week’s co-sanctioned Diamond Cup tournament in Japan.

"NathanHolman is one of 18 Australasians in the
field, seven coming from the Asian Tour and top amateurs Antonio Murdaca and
Lucas Herbert also among the starters.

Japan Tour regulars Brad Kennedy, Brendan
Jones, Scott Strange, Kurt Barnes, Won Joon Lee, Adam Bland and Michael Hendry
will be joined by Jake Higginbotom, Terry Pilkadaris, Scott Barr, Marcus Both,
Kalem Richardson, Sam Brazel and Adam Groom from the Asian Tour while Geoff
Drakeford will play on a sponsor’s invite.

Holman is the leading Australian of those
playing the Asian Tour full time, currently 14th on the standings
through five events.

Holman has been impressive since turning
professional at the end of 2013 and gets another chance this week to prove his
ability to adapt to any conditions.

Of the Japan Tour regulars Brad Kennedy is
the form player of the year though comes into the week off just his second
missed cut of the season.

Currently third on the money list, Kennedy
has done everything but win in 2015 with three runner-up finishes and a third
on his resume.

He is one of two Australians inside the
top-10 on the money list, Japan PGA winner Adam Bland the other at seventh.

It has been a mixed bag for Bland since
notching his first victory with no top-10 results in his seven starts since and
he will be looking for improvement this week.
