Josh Geary will be looking to extend his lead in the PGA TOUR China Order of Merit when he takes aim at his third win of the season this week.

"PeterThe New Zealander, a former winner of the WA
Open, has just shy of $110,000 in earnings through five events, almost $15,000
ahead of his nearest rival.

With Web.com Tour cards on offer for the
top-5 earners at season’s end in China the stakes are high and Geary has put
himself in excellent position to make the step to America’s secondary Tour.

Adelaide’s Peter Cooke is also having a
good season in China with three top-5 finishes in his first four starts.

Cooke is sixth on the money list after
missing his first cut at the Ping An Bank Championship a fortnight ago but has
proved his resilience this season overcoming poor starts almost every week.

Twice Cooke has opened with rounds of 78
but gone on to post top-5 results and will be looking to bounce back from his
only missed cut at this week’s Cadillac Championship.

The tournament will feature 22 Australians
including Bryden Macpherson who returns to China after ending a disappointing
season in America three weeks ago.

Macpherson enjoyed a good year on the PGA
Tour China in 2014 finishing ninth on the Order of Merit before securing a
Web.com card via the Q-School at the end of the year.

Having missed the Web.com Finals Series,
Macpherson returned to China two weeks ago and tees up for his second event of
2015 this week.

Other notable Australians in the field
include Scott Laycock, Jamie Arnold, Raymond Beaufils, Rohan Blizard and Aaron
Townsend.
