A top 15 finish in the final event of the year in Japan has seen Adam Bland take top Australian honours not only for the week but also the season.
Bland, who posted his first Japan Tour win at the third event of the 2015 season, amassed AU$630,746 over the course of the year to be 17th on the final money list.
That was almost AU$100,000 more than Brad Kennedy who finished with AU$548,707 and 21st.
Rounds of 72-70-68-69 saw Bland finish T12 at the season ending JT Cup, the Japan Tour equivalent of the Tour Championship with only the top 30 money winners from the season earning a start.
Also in the field was Kennedy, who finished T21, and Michael Hendry (T15.)
The top 75 on the money list at the end of the year retain playing rights for 2016 and rookies Won Joon Lee and Matt Griffin will be back next season after finishing 35th and 68th respectively.
Hendry, who also posted his maiden Japan Tour win at the first event of the season, finished the year 30th in earnings, Brendan Jones 49th, Scott Strange 51st and Kurt Barnes 58th.
