Three Australians will get to test their games on the host course for the 2018 Ryder Cup when the inaugural Paris Legends Championship gets underway this week.

Peter Fowler will lead the challenge at Le Golf National, the course set to play host to the matches in two years’ time.

Peter O’Malley and Mike Harwood join Fowler in the field, all three coming into the tournament with good recent form.

Fowler was fourth last week at Woburn, his fourth top-10 in nine events for the season, while O’Malley has also run into recent form.

The 51-year-old has posted back-to-back top-10’s in the past two weeks, his first since joining the over 50’s circuit last year.

For Mike Harwood last week’s Travis Perkins Masters was disappointing after some recent good play and he will be keen to get back on track in France.
