Queensland’s Brad Kennedy is on track for his best year in six seasons on the Japan Tour and will be looking to improve on his current 10th placing on the money list when he tees up at this week’s Tourworld Cup.

""Kennedy’s previous best finish on the money list was 18th place in 2013 but a rich vein of 2016 form has him on track to better that comfortably.

Several of the Tour’s biggest events are played in the remaining weeks of this season and Kennedy, who has six top-10’s in 14 starts this year, will be looking for a strong finish.

New Zealand’s Michael Hendry is the only Australasian ahead of Kennedy on the list at sixth but the Kiwi has elected not to play this week.

Kennedy is an unknown quantity at this tournament having not teed up in the inaugural event in 2015.

However, his recent form has been solid and with next week’s Japan Open beginning a run of big money tournaments and it would be no surprise if he was in the mix come Sunday.

Kennedy is one of six Australasians teeing up this week including recent winner Brendan Jones and regulars Scott Strange, David Smail, Kurt Barnes and Won Joon Lee.
