As the season-ending Web.com Tour Championship was canceled due to Hurricane Matthew, 50 PGA TOUR cards were handed out via this year’s Regular Season with the Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship culminating the season as the final result.
After finishing runner-up at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship, Smith had all but earned back a TOUR card and the top ranked Australian at number seven.
Pampling played his way back to the main tour after three top-25 in all three Finals events to sit inside the top-25 rankings.
Drewitt, who finished runner-up at the BMW Charity Pro-Am, is one of six of the top-25 who secured their PGA TOUR cards solely through the Web.com Tour Finals and will be a rookie during the 2016-17 season.
Percey, who is ranked at 49th, finished T10 at DAP Championship as part of his Finals and also returns to the TOUR next year.
The 25 players from the Web.com Tour Finals money list will join the 25 players from the Regular Season money list on the PGA TOUR.
25 of the 50 cards awarded will alternate on the priority ranking list for tournament starts on the PGA TOUR for the upcoming season, which opens next week with the Safeway Open in Napa, Calif.
Owned and operated by the PGA TOUR, the Web.com Tour continues to identify those players who are ready to compete and win on golf’s biggest stage.
