While Fiji is usually an idyllic tropical holiday destination, the E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour faced very different conditions for the first two rounds of the Vuksich & Borich Fiji Legends Golf Classic.
However the weather conditions couldn’t put a dampener on Tim Elliot who won the title by three shots.
Despite the weather conditions the course played well and Elliott was able to capitalise firing 7-under 65.
Elliott’s round was highlighted by an eagle and five birdies; his exceptional play thanks to change in equipment set-up before leaving Australia.
With a tournament total 10-under 134, Elliott claimed the Vuksich & Borich Fiji Legends Golf Classic by three shots from David Hando.
With this win Elliott has extended his lead on the Legends Tour Order of Merit.
