Between them they have
35 years experience as Touring Professionals but Marcus Fraser and Scott Hend
make their tournament debuts at this week’s Nedbank Golf Challenge on the
European Tour.

""The tournament is the
second of the end of season Race to Dubai Finals Series which sees three
Australians among the eligible top-60, Nathan Holman also teeing up alongside
Fraser and Hend.

The Nedbank tournament
has been on the international schedule for several years but joins the Finals
Series for the first time in 2016 with the bulk of the 72 man field never
having faced the Gary Player CC course before.

Hend brings the best
form of the Australians to South Africa after a mid-field finish last week in
Turkey though Marcus Fraser elected not to play while Nathan Holman showed
glimpses of form.

The reigning
Australian PGA Champion posted weekend rounds of 69-69 in Antalya, his first
consecutive sub-70 rounds since the China Open in May.

While it’s far from
his best golf, it will have given Holman some hope that a recent run of poor
form may be turning and if he can have a solid week in South Africa it would be
a welcome boost ahead of the Australian summer of golf.

Meanwhile Hend, who is
enjoying his best year ever as a Professional, is making a comeback of his own
after a mini slump in September saw him miss two consecutive cuts.

He played some decent
golf at the WGC HSBC Champions in China despite a final round 77 while in
Turkey he played well without ever getting out of second gear.

The Gary Player CC
course should suit the long hitting Queenslander and with just this week and
next remaining on the schedule he will be keen to end the year on a high note.

For Fraser, 2016 has
already been a successful campaign with victory in Malaysia in February
followed by representing Australia at the Olympics but a good play this week
and next would be icing on the cake.
