Midlands Golf Club have pulled out all the stops, with their course in top class condition they are expecting two good days of play.
The 36 hole event with $30,000 prize money up for grabs, has attracted a strong field including Peter Senior who retired last year from top level Tour golf.
The 56-year-old will keep his competitive streak alive in Australia by playing in selected events throughout the 2017 Legends Tour season.
Notable entrants joining Senior in the opening event on the Tour will be Peter O’Malley and Rodger Davis, all three are also confirmed starters in the of Bendigo Legends Pro-Am at Heathcote Golf Club on the 29 January and the Shepparton BMW Victorian Senior Open from 1 – 3 February at Black Bull Golf Club & Yarrawonga-Mulwala Golf Club Resort.
The City of Bendigo have once again thrown their support behind Heathcote event and with Rodger Davis returning after his win there in 2015.
With a combined prize purse of $81,000, the three events hace attracted a field of over 70 Senior Professionals to courses around Victoria in what will be a blockbuster start to the 2017 PGA Legends Tour season.
