The PGA Legends Tour last week powered through five consecutive pro-am events in five days at Eagle Ridge, Moonah Links, Portsea, Sandhurst and Gardiners Run.
All courses were presented in exceptional condition for a star studded field including Ian Baker-Finch, Peter Senior and Mike Harwood mixing it with the amateur golfers over the five venues
Steve Aisbett won at Eagle Ridge with 4-under 68, Tim Elliott took out Moonah Links also with 68 winning by one shot from Ian Baker-Finch, Steve Conran and Steve Woodhead.
Portsea saw Conran continue his form shooting 1-under 70 on hard fast greens, Anthony Gilligan, Brad Burns and Peter Senior finished two shots back.
Mike Harwood found form at Sandhurst playing front 9 in 6-under 30 but dropped two shots coming home for a 68, good enough to win by one stroke from Brad Burns and David Hando.
Colin Hunt fired 6-under 66 in the morning at Gardiners Run, taking advantage of the calm conditions and unspoiled greens, Mike Harwood and Mike Zilko tried to chase him down in the afternoon but could only get within two shots carding 68’s.
The PGA Legends Tour moves onto Growling Frog on Tuesday and Werribee on Wednesday for another pair of pro-am events.
