Martin Dive has claimed his first win on the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series for 2019 with a round of 1-under 71 at the IK Harrison Pro-Am.
Dive, who was the only player to finish under par at the one-day event, topped a field of over 60 Professionals at the pristine Elanora Country Club layout.
“It was great to get the win today, I haven’t played my best this year and today gives me a lot of confidence going into a few of the bigger tournaments,” Dive said.
“This event is one of my top priorities to get a start in each year and it means a lot to get the win here.
“The course is always presented in fantastic condition and it keeps getting better each time we come back.”
Ben Doney and an in-form Neven Basic secured second place with a round of even-par 72.
Alexander Simpson’s round of 1-over saw him finish in fourth place ahead of ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia regulars Darren Beck, Jay Mackenzie, Jordan Mullaney, Andrew Campbell, Taylor Cooper and Luke Humphries in a tie for fifth place.
The NSW/ACT Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series swing returns to the Central Coast on Thursday 21st November for the Central Connect Kooindah Waters Pro-Am.
