Tournament - PGA of Australia

Overview

    The Webex Players Series Victoria be the second event of the 2023/24 Webex Players Series, an innovative series of tournaments, now held across three states, that sees male and female professionals & elite amateurs lining up in the one field for the same prize purse.

    Across the weekend of the tournament, 16 junior & 9 All Abilities golfers will also tee off alongside the professionals in their own 36-hole competitions.

    Hosted by 2006 US Open champion Geoff Ogilvy, the $250,000 tournament will take place from January 25 to 28 and once again held at Rosebud Country Club on the Mornington Peninsula. The event is proudly supported by the Victorian Government Significant Sporting Events Program.

    Parking:

    Parking is available at Rosebud Country Club, entering off Boneo Road. Please follow the directional signage upon arrival at the venue. Accessible Parking is available in the Rosebud Country Club car park. Parking for all patrons is free of charge for the duration of the tournament.

    Ticketing

    The Webex Players Series Victoria is a free to attend and no tickets are required to enter the event.

    Hours of Play

    Approximately 7.30am to 6.30pm on Thursday and Friday

    Approximately 9.30am to 6.50pm on Saturday and Sunday*

    *Weekend times subject to change

    Tee times will be available on our website (http://www.pga.org.au) or app – PGA Tour of Australasia. Please note that the draw is not made until the Tuesday of tournament week.

    CBCo 19th Hole

    The CBCo 19th Hole is where it’s all happening off the golf course and where you will find plenty of seating to relax. Located overlooking the 18th green, there will be fun activities for the whole family with food & beverage plus live music ensuring that the golf course is not the only place where the action is happening.

    Opening Hours

    – Friday 26th January – 2pm to 7pm
    – Saturday 27th January – 12pm to 7pm
    – Sunday 28th January – 12pm to 7pm

    Public Catering

    Public Catering is available from the Rosebud Country Club Clubhouse plus the public bar located outside the Clubhouse, adjacent to the practice putting green.

    First Aid

    First Aid is available Thursday to Sunday at the Rosebud Country Club Clubhouse.

    Daily Draw Sheets and Maps

    Daily draw sheets and course maps will be available upon entry to the course, from the Proshop and can also be accessed via the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia app.

    Amenities

    There are public toilet facilities available in the following areas:

    – Clubhouse
    – RHS 5th Green
    – 8th/10th Green
    – 13th Green

    Television Broadcast

    The Webex Players Series Victoria will be broadcast live on Fox Sports & Kayo across the weekend:

    Saturday 27th January – 4:00pm to 7:00pm AEDT
    Sunday 28th January – 2:00pm to 7:00pm AEDT

    Evacuation Policy

    A golf tournament can continue play in raining conditions. If weather is potentially dangerous to players and spectators, then a siren will sound and play will be suspended.

    If the siren sounds, patrons are advised to seek shelter immediately and avoid the following: Open areas, hill tops and high places, isolated trees, golf buggies, telephone poles, metal or wire fences and metal stakes. If an evacuation is required, spectators will be directed to the nearest departure gates.

    Mobile Phone Policy

    Mobile phones may be used, however they must remain on SILENT at all times, and have the FLASH OFF. Mobile phone photography is permitted on all tournament competition days, and video on non-competition days only. Please always be considerate of tournament play and other spectators.

    Prohibited Items

    – Audio or video equipment (including professional SLR cameras)
    – Television, radio or noise producing devices
    – Large eskies, milk crates or step ladders
    – Firearms, weapons, or explosives
    – Alcoholic beverages or glass bottles
    – Bicycles
    – Pets
    – Drones, model aircraft, remotely operated camera equipment or other similar airborne devices
