Tournament - PGA of Australia

Overview

    The Webex Players Series South Australia will be the first event in the 2024/25 Webex Players Series, an innovative series of tournaments, now held across three states, that sees male and female professionals & elite amateurs lining up in the one field for the same prize purse.

    Hosted by former Australian cricketer and SA golf representative Greg Blewett, the $200,000 tournament from October 24-27 is sanctioned by both the Challenger PGA Tour of Australasia and the WPGA Tour of Australasia. Played in the McLaren Vale wine region, south of Adelaide, the tournament will also feature junior & All Abilities golfers across the weekend in their own 36-hole competitions.

    South Australia is proud to host the Webex Player Series. This tournament is supported by the South Australian Government through the South Australian Tourism Commission and the City of Onkaparinga.

    Visitor Guide

    Public parking is available in the streets surrounding Willunga Golf Course, with an overflow car park for the public located at the Willunga Recreation Park, entering off Main Road. Spectators can then walk directly to the venue entering through the main entrance on Saint Peters Terrace.

    Accessible Parking is available in the Willunga Golf Course car park. Parking for all patrons is free of charge for the duration of the tournament.

    Ticketing

    The Webex Players Series South Australia is a free to attend and no tickets are required to enter the event.

    Hours of Play

    Approximately 7.30am to 6.30pm on Thursday and Friday

    Approximately 8.30am to 5.50pm on Saturday and Sunday*

    *Weekend times subject to change

    Tee times will be available on our website (https://pga.org.au) or app – PGA Tour of Australasia. Please note that the draw is not made until the Tuesday of tournament week.

     

    Public Catering

    Public Catering is available from the Willunga Golf Course Clubhouse plus food trucks on-site.

    First Aid

    First Aid is available Thursday to Sunday at the Willunga Golf Course Clubhouse. Please take note of the location of Event Medical Plus on the event map.

    Daily Draw Sheets and Maps

    Daily draw sheets and course maps will be available upon entry to the course, from the Proshop and can also be accessed via the PGA Tour of Australasia app.

    Amenities

    There are public toilet facilities available in the following areas:

    • Located behind the Clubhouse (Accessible Toilet available inside the Clubhouse)
    • 4th Hole
    • 12th Hole
    • 15th Hole

     

    Television Broadcast

    The Webex Players Series South Australia will be broadcast live on Fox Sports & Kayo across the weekend:

    • Saturday 26th October – Times TBC
    • Sunday 27th October – Times TBC

     

    Evacuation Policy

    A golf tournament can continue play in raining conditions. If weather is potentially dangerous to players and spectators, then a siren will sound and play will be suspended.

    If the siren sounds, patrons are advised to seek shelter immediately and avoid the following: Open areas, hill tops and high places, isolated trees, golf buggies, telephone poles, metal or wire fences and metal stakes. If an evacuation is required, spectators will be directed to the nearest departure gates.

    Mobile Phone Policy

    Mobile phones may be used, however they must remain on SILENT at all times, and have the FLASH OFF. Mobile phone photography is permitted on all tournament competition days, and video on non-competition days only. Please always be considerate of tournament play and other spectators.

    Prohibited Items

    • Audio or video equipment (including professional SLR cameras)
    • Television, radio or noise producing devices
    • Large eskies, milk crates or step ladders
    • Firearms, weapons, or explosives
    • Alcoholic beverages or glass bottles
    • Bicycles
    • Pets
    • Drones, model aircraft, remotely operated camera equipment or other similar airborne devices
