Some of Australia’s best loved sporting personalities will hit the fairways at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus Victorian PGA Championship.
Some of Australia’s best loved sporting personalities will hit the fairways at this year’s Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus Victorian PGA Championship.
Former Australian Test cricketers Shane Warne, Damien Fleming, Allan Border and Rodney Hogg; together with international counterparts, Sir Viv Richards and Sir Ian Botham, will all tee off at Huntingdale Golf Club next month.
Former Melbourne Football Club full forward and SEN host, David Schwarz, retired Essendon premiership player, Jason Johnson, and former Hawthorn and North Melbourne defender, Nathan Thompson, will join a host of domestic and international golfers.
Also tasting life inside the ropes will be Australian television and radio presenter Shura Taft, the Footy Show’s Sam Newman and from tournament partner SEN Andy Maher, Daniel Harford and Jason Richardson.
Longstanding Tour Professionals Peter O’Malley and Peter Lonard will join defending champion, Gareth Paddison, inaugural Fiji International winner, Steven Jeffress, 2012 Australian PGA Championship winner, Daniel Popovic, 2013 WA PGA Champion, Jack Wilson, and new Pro, Todd Sinnott.
The Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus Victorian PGA Championship will be played under a new format based on the successful AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.
The format will see 92 of the PGA’s past and future stars vying for the title and the Jack Harris Cup.

The Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus Victorian PGA Championship will be played from Tuesday 10th – Friday 13th February 2015 at Huntingdale Golf Club.
Admission to this event is free.
