  • Becomes the first, first-time winner of the 2016 European Tour season.
  • Becomes the first Australian to win on The European Tour since Jason Day (2015 US PGA Championship).
  • Wins the first three-man European Tour play-off since The 144th Open Championship, won by Zach Johnson.
