PGA NSW / ACT Vocational Awards

The 2025 NSW Golf Industry Awards – an event that brings together the state’s peak representative bodies to celebrate the outstanding contributions of individuals and organisations involved in our sport, will be once again hosted later this year. 

The evening will be hosted by: 

• PGA of Australia 

• WPGA 

• Golf NSW 

• Jack Newton Junior Golf 

• Golf Management Australia (NSW) 

• NSW Golf Course Superintendents Association 

…and will again be held at the spectacular Pearl Ballroom at the amazing Shangri-La Hotel Sydney, situated in the historic Rocks district on Monday, October 27^th 2025.  

Your Association will be presenting a total of five awards on the night to honour our members who have achieved and been recognised for their contribution to their facilities in the following categories: 

• NSW/ACT Club Professional of the Year 

• NSW/ACT Coach of the Year – Game Development 

• NSW/ACT Coach of the Year – High Performance 

• NSW/ACT Management Professional of the Year 

• NSW/ACT Tournament of the Year.

This year, like last year’s event, our industry will introduce a charitable partner for the event, who will receive the proceeds from an event auction that will begin online and culminate during the Industry Awards ceremony. 

For 2025, that beneficiary will be the Jack Newton Junior Golf Foundation – a not-for-profit organisation founded by Jack Newton that, for nearly 40 years, has introduced young people to the game of golf and nurtured their skills and enjoyment of the sport.
