Tour veteran Jason Norris
and rookie Lindsay Wilson have moved away from the field after the second round
action at the Nexus South West Open.
The leading pair is tied on
9-under the card after two rounds and are three shots clear of their closest
rivals heading into the final round.
With barely a breath of
wind, players took advantage shooting low scores. Jason Norris 5-under 67 was
matched by Damien Chatterly, Nathan Miller and Kim Felton who also made solid
moves up the leaderboard to be in contention heading into the final round.
Lindsay Wilson had an
erratic ball striking day and was pleased his putter has kept him in
contention.
"I scrambled all day and was
really hot with the putter. I had just 24 putts compared with 32 in round one,"
said Wilson.
"I spent some quality time
on the range this afternoon to see if I could straighten things out for the
final round."
