Summers, the teaching professional at the host venue, fired 2-under 69 to seal the win showing his class around the strong layout.
“I haven’t played much golf recently so it’s nice to be back out playing and playing well is just a bonus,” said Summers.
“If I can get my body right I’d still like to have a crack at the US Champions Tour since I turn 50 next year. I’d like to think I still have some good golf left in me.”
After another very successful year on the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia, the 2018 player of the year, Matt Millar returned to the Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series finishing runner-up to Summers on 1-under the card.
Rounding out the top-5 on even par 71 were Leigh McKechnie, Sam Newbrun and Jordan Mullaney.
The WRI Charity Pro-Am concludes the 2018 Ladbrokes Pro-Am Series in NSW / ACT with Alex Edge taking out the order of merit honours.
