Peter Senior will be keen to keep the momentum going from a top 20 finish at the Senior PGA championship when he tees up at this week’s Principal Charity Classic.
The 55-year-old has two top 10’s in five appearances at the Iowa event and while he has struggled with his game the past season and a half showed good signs at the year’s second major a fortnight ago.
On the most difficult course the over 50’s have faced so far this year Senior was a model of consistency over the four days and his T17 finish is proof he still has plenty of game.
The three time Australian PGA winner finished 6th at this event two years ago and was T9 in 2012 so has some good memories to call on.
