Two weeks removed from a good finish at the Senior Open in England Peter Senior tees up at this week’s Shaw Charity Classic still in search of the form that has made him such a prolific money winner on the over-50’s circuit.
Senior has posted just one top-10
finish on the Champions Tour this year as he has battled injuries and limited
status after losing his full card last year.
In the first six events of 2015
Senior never broke 70 but has turned things around in the past month and has
been in the 60’s in eight of his past16 rounds.
While a prolific money winner and
regular contender since joining the Champions Tour in 2010 a victory has so far
eluded the multiple PGA Tour of Australasia winner.
He tees up at his week’s Shaw
Charity Classic for the third time finishing T19 in 2013 and T73 last year but
does have some positive vibes from the course.
In 2013 a second round 71
cruelled his chances but was sandwiched between a 65 and a 67 so he knows what
it takes to post a number at the Canyon Meadows GC in Canada.
