Some consistent play in his own backyard has seen Adam Scott finish a respectable T10 at Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge in the Bahamas.

Scott, who lives much of the year on the island, was good but not brilliant over the four rounds to post a 16-under-par total, nine shots behind winner Bubba Watson.

It was the final event of the year for Scott whose bold charge at the previous week’s Australian Open came up one shot shy despite a brilliant final round 67.

Scott was the only Australian in the 18 player field which boasted five major winners.
