Craig Parry will make his over 50’s Major debut this week when he tees up in the first of the five Grand Slam events on the Champion’s Tour, The Regions Tradition.

""Parry joined the Champion’s Tour this year courtesy of a stellar PGA TOUR career and while he is yet to produce his best golf will be motivated to perform this week.

Parry had close calls at more than one major in his career, the 1992 US Masters, 1993 US open and 1999 Open Championship among them, and will not be fazed by the moment or the competition this week.

He is joined in the field at the Greystone Golf and Country Club in Alabama by Peter Senior who lost a play-off at this event in his second year on the Tour.

Senior was beaten by Tom Lehman in sudden death in 2011, his best finish in a major in a career spanning more than 30 years.

The reigning Australian Masters champion will likely be a threat at all the Champions Tour majors this year as he has announced 2016 will be his final year playing full time and an over 50’s title is about the only thing in golf he hasn’t achieved.
