After making his Champions Tour debut last week Craig Parry will fly the Australian flag again this week when he takes his place in the field for the Chubb Classic in Florida.
Parry, who stumbled with one bad hole in his debut last week, was 5-under for his final two rounds at the Allianz Championship and will be quietly confident coming into this week.
The 50-year-old said last week he was enthused about the prospect of playing the Champions Tour and despite not playing a lot of tournament golf recently is a proven performer on the world stage.
Two career PGA TOUR victories opened the door for Parry to tee up on the over 50’s circuit and he will be keen to show he still has what it takes to compete at this level.
Like fellow Australian Peter Senior, Parry is known as a fierce competitor and it would be a surprise if he didn’t have some success in the senior ranks.
