After an impressive debut at the Swiss Senior Open last week Peter O’Malley will be ready to fire when he tees off at this week’s Winston Golf Senior Open in Germany.

O’Malley, a stalwart of the European Tour
from 1989 till 2010, is a three time winner in Europe and will be keen to add to
that tally on the over-50’s circuit.

With his first competitive week resulting
in a T11 finish O’Malley will be looking to keep the momentum going as he tries
to establish himself in the senior ranks.

Known as one of the straightest drivers and
best iron players in the game O’Malley and fellow Australian Peter Fowler,
already a two time winner this season, could dominate the European Senior
circuit the remainder of the year.

The pair lead a six strong Australian
contingent in Germany this week with Mike Harwood, Tim Elliott, Terry Price and
Noel Ratcliffe also in the field.
