Wade Ormsby repeated his 2014 top-10 performance at the Trophee Hassan tournament but Richard Green will be disappointed after stumbling in the third round when holding a share of the 36 hole lead.

"WadeThe reigning Oates Victorian Open champion was 6-under the
card and in a four-way tie for the lead when he teed off Saturday but hit a
submerged log at the par-3 second hole.

Having missed the green the left-hander dumped his second
shot in a bunker then took two to get out. He compounded the disaster by three
putting for a horrible quadruple bogey.

Things didn’t improve much on the way to the turn with a
double and another bogey adding up to 42 strokes and his share of the lead
gone.

Green showed his mettle with four birdies on the back nine
but stumbled again at the final hole with another double bogey to post a 4-over
76 for the day.

The bizarre round saw him fall too far back to contend on
the final day but the 44-year-old will take a lot more positives than negatives
from a week where he made 17 birdies.

Ormsby, too, will take a lot of confidence from his
performance on a golf course which obviously fits his eye.

The South Australian played consistent golf over the four
days on the difficult Golf du Palais layout in Agadir with his 7-under the card
score for the week good enough for a T9 finish.

The South Australian finished top-10 here last year as well
and with seven events under his belt in 2015 he is 54th in the race
to Dubai standings and on his way to another good year.

It wasn’t such a good week for Scott Hend who teed up for
the first time in Morocco and was a creditable even par through two rounds
before things went haywire on Saturday.

Hend played the first nine holes of the third round without
making a single par, racking up a triple, three doubles, three bogies and two
birdies on his way to a 10-over 46.

Another triple at the par-3 12th, against a lone
birdie at the 13th, saw him card a 12-over 84 for the day and fall
to last place in the standings.

The roller coaster continued Sunday with Hend making two
eagles in his even par round of 72.

Jason Scrivener, who was the subject of an in-depth feature
on European Tour TV in the preview to the tournament,
missed the cut.
