Cameron Davis (36th) and Rhein Gibson (42nd) could still earn automatic PGA Tour cards over the coming fortnight but would likely need a win or two top-five finishes to push their way into the top 25.
Brett Drewitt currently sits in 57th position on the moneylist and needs to make a couple of cuts to solidify his place in the finals while Jamie Arnold is dancing very close to the edge sitting in 67th spot.
The Kiwi pair of Tim Wilkinson and Steven Alker are in 92nd and 101st position respectively on the moneylist and need something out of the ordinary to make a play for the finals.
On the Asian Tour this week Queenslander Jake McLeod and Kiwi Ben Campbell get to build on their strong showings at the Fiji International at the TAKE Solutions Masters at the Karnataka Golf Association Golf Association in India.
Campbell’s tied third finish at Natadola Bay netted him $70,000 to move up 24 places to 30th on the Habitat for Humanity Standings while McLeod also moved inside the top 40 courtesy of his top-10 finish, now sitting 33rd in the season-long standings.
Andrew Martin, also top 10 in Fiji courtesy of final round 69, jumped 21 spots to be 56th on the order of merit heading into this week with Maverick Antcliff moving up eight spots from 91st after a strong showing at Natadola Bay.
Scott Barr was the best performed of the Australasian players at this event 12 months ago finishing tied for 16th with David Gleeson, Josh Younger, Matt Stieger, Marcus Both and Kunal Bhasin also teeing it up this week.
The European Challenge Tour moves to Finland this week for the Vierumaki Finnish Challenge where Dimitrios Papadatos, Jack Munro and Ben Eccles will fly the Australian flag while on the Mackenzie Tour in Canada Mathew Goggin is joining regulars Brett Coletta and Ruben Sondjaja at the ATB Financial Classic, Coletta out to improve further on his position of 23rd on the order of merit.
