West Australian amateur Curtis Luck will head into the final
round of the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA Open in control of a leaderboard packed
with young talent.

"CurtisPlaying in the final group of the day, Luck fired the lowest
score of the tournament so far. His 8-under 62 ensuring he takes a three shot
lead into the final round.

"I got off to a pretty steady start. I had a birdie putt on
the second which unfortunately I missed but I think it settled me down a bit,"
said Luck.

"It was really good playing with Antonio, he holed some
really good putts early and I think it inspired me to get my head into the
game."

"I think at some point I was even four back but I came
through on the back-9 and started holing some good putts."

Luck will be seeking redemption tomorrow after he failed to
close out the WA Open on the final holes last year, eventually finishing
runner-up to winner, Daniel Fox.

"After last year, a win would really top it off," said Luck.

"Coming second last year was still great and I would
probably still take it again, but going one better and winning would mean a lot
to me."

"It would give me a good idea of where I am with my golf."

Overnight leader Antonio Murdaca fired 4-under 66 but
couldn’t quite keep pace with his playing partner.

"I finished with a bogey which was a little frustrating.
Otherwise it was a good round and I am happy with 4-under. Four red, is four
red," said Murdaca, who will continue to execute his game plan in the final
round.

"I can’t control anyone else’s game and I am comfortable
with where I am at. Hopefully I’ll have a low one tomorrow."

"I am not going to try and play too aggressively, I am just
going to stick to the game plan I have had all week. There is no point in
trying to change something, I just need to keep calm and see what happens."

Sitting a further two shots back of Murdaca on 12-under the
card is West Australian, Rick Kulacz.

Rounding out the top-5 on 10-under the card are Mitchell A.
Brown, Jarryd Felton, Leigh McKechnie as well as amateurs Travis Smyth and
Harrison Endycott.

The final round of the Nexus Risk TSA Group WA
Open tees off at 8.50am with the last group of Luck, Murdaca and Kulacz on
course at 10.50am.
