The players came out firing this morning looking to take advantage of their early morning tee times at the Oates Vic Open. 

However the wind picked up early at Thirteenth Beach Golf Links ensuring the course is a true test of golf.

Despite the wind local Pro Brad Lamb made the most of his putting ability to shoot a bogey free round of 5-under 67.  He jumped up the leaderboard from T46 to T9.

Joining Lamb on the leaderboard is New Zealander Josh Geary who is 3-under after 11 holes today.

Other players making moves up the leaderboard are Daniel Valente, Nick Gillespie, Michael Wright and Mark Brown.

The afternoon field are now starting to tee off with the lead group off at 1.20pm.
