Hendry holds down ninth position while Kennedy is just one spot further back Kennedy will like his chances this week as he finished T22 last year, the first time the tournament was played at the Sobhu course. 

Hendry failed to make the cut in 2015 though his form in 2016 has been superb.

The pair is among a seven strong Australian challenge with Scott Strange, Adam Bland, Kurt Barnes, Brendan Jones and Won Joon Lee also in the field.
