After some sub standard recent performances Scott Hend was the only Australian to make the cut at the Nordea Masters this week.
The big hitting Queenslander recovered from
a final round 82 at the Irish Open last week to fire rounds of 74-69-71-73 and
finish T33 in Sweden.
Having made the cut on the number it was a
good showing from Hend over the final two days to claw his way from the bottom
of the pack to mid field.
Players were confronted with a PGA National
course that played difficult all week and the Australians found the going tough
from the start.
Richard Green missed the cut by one with
rounds of 72-73 while Jason Scrivener was one worse at 2-over for the two
rounds.
Wade Ormsby never got going and rounds of
73-75 left him at 4-over but, more worryingly, outside the cut line for the
third straight week.
