Tim hart and Adam Blyth have tied for victory at the Anglo American Middlemount Pro-Am.
Low scoring was the order of the day in the final round with 18 professionals shooting 71 or better.
Hart fired 8- under 64, the lowest round of the day, to finish at 11-under and claim victory alongside Blyth who fired a superb 65.
Hart’s round included six birdies and two eagles with a couple of soft bogies costing the 25 year old an outright victory.
"The hard work is really paying off at the moment with today’s win capping off a couple of great weeks for me up in PNG," said Hart.
"It is still very early on in the season, but I am happy with my current form. Hopefully I can keep putting myself in a position over the next few weeks as it would be great to win back-to-back PCR Polyweld Mining Town Series," added Hart.
This win moves Hart into second position on the MLC Advice Nundah Order of Merit, $6,500 behind last week’s PNG Open Champion Josh Cabban.
Professionals will now head to the Tieri Pro-Am tomorrow for round three of the PCR Polyweld Mining Town Series.
