Teeing off with the
$22,000 Better Homes Port Macquarie Pro-Am on Tuesday, this year on of the
strongest ever fields has assembled to contest the title.
In the field includes
defending champion and 2014 Coca-Cola QLD PGA champion Anthony Summers along
with the 2013 winner and 2014 BMZ NZ Open champion Dimi Papadatos.
"Port Macquarie
Golf club is one of the best courses on the Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series,"
said Summers who will be challenged by international winners including Nathan
Green and Paul Sheehan, both making their first pro-am start of the 2015
season.
"We are delighted
to host this event again and I know the city of Port Macquarie is excited to
see these guys in action," said resident PGA Professional James Single.
The Better Homes Pro-Am
is the first event of a four-event swing on the NSW Mid North Coast which also
features:

Other big name players
to watch out for include Matthew Millar who has four top-10 finishes on the PGA
Tour of Australasia so far this year, Asian Tour regular Jake Higginbottom and
Victorian PGA champion Aaron Townsend.
