Five-time European Senior Tour winner Peter Fowler will be eager to add a sixth title to his name when the Italian Senior Open returns to the schedule this week.
The tournament will be played for the first time since 2008 and Fowler comes into the week off two strong results in his last two outings.
With the Tour not playing an event since the Paris Legends Championship in mid-September Fowler, who is fourth on the Order of Merit, will be among the favourites at Golf Club Udine.
He finished T6 at Le Golf National and was T4 the previous week in Scotland, just two of his six top-10 finishes in 10 starts this year.
Fowler is joined in the field by Terry Price who is playing his first event of the year.
