Defending champion Peter Fowler kept his excellent record in tact at
the French Riviera Masters with his third top-5 finish in as many
attempts at the Terra Blanche course in Provence.

Fowler finished T5 in 2012, the first time the event was played on the course, and backed that up with victory last year.

His T3 this week continued the trend after his final round 67, a score bettered by only Ian Woosnam on Sunday, moved him six places up the leader board.

Fowler was the only one of the seven Australasians in the field to finish in the top-10 with New Zealand’s Greg Turner next best at T12 followed by Terry Price and Mike Harwood (T22), Glenn Joyner (T34), Noel Ratcliffe (T51) and Graham Banister (T69).
