2015 Australian PGA Champion Nathan Holman is a confirmed starter for this week’s Latrobe City WIN Network Pro-Am on 30 – 31 March and The Big Garage Subaru Pro-Am on 1 April.

""The 25-year-old turned professional in 2013 and in his first year playing for prize money was able to finish 13th in the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia Order of Merit.

2015 was undoubtedly the highlight of his young career; his win in the Australian PGA Championship saw him top the Order of Merit rankings and earned him full exemption on the European Tour until the end of 2017.

With a gap on the European Tour schedule for the year’s first Major; The Masters Tournament, Holman has found time to return to his home state of Victoria to compete in Traralgon and Bairnsdale this week.

Holman’s late inclusion to the two events adds even more strength to a star-studded field including local Victorian Tour professionals David Bransdon, Geoff Drakeford and Anthony Houston.

Fellow Victorian Ashley Hall will take advantage of the gap in the ISPS HANDA PGA Tour of Australasia to fine tune his game in preparation for the 146th Open Championship at Royal Birkdale, this year will be the second time Hall has competed in the prestigious tournament, he first qualified in 2012.

Along with Hall, Holman Jin Jeong makes it three players in the field to have competed in The Open Championship in the past adding some real star power to the upcoming week.

NSW’s Mitch Brown is also a confirmed starter for both pro-am tournaments and will look to build on his commanding lead in the National Pro-Am Order of Merit.

With a combined total of $37,000 on offer across the two events, there will be plenty of incentive for the field playing over the three days.
