NSW Open champion Ben Eccles will tee up
for his second Challenge Tour start when he is one of three Australians to
tackle the Made in Denmark tournament this week.
The 21-year-old Victorian missed out on a
place at Open qualifying this week but will be looking to make up for that
disappointment with a good performance in Denmark.
Eccles will be joined by Antonio Murdaca,
who also missed a spot at Open qualifying, and Challenge Tour regular Daniel
Gaunt who has shown glimpses of form in recent weeks.
Both Murdaca and Eccles are playing on invitation this week, Eccles hoping to
improve on a T44 finish in his only previous event while Murdaca will be
looking to make his first Challenge Tour cut.
Challenge Tour regulars Scott Arnold, Terry
Pilkadaris and Ryan Fox have all opted not to tee up this week, Pilkadaris
instead playing the Asian Tour while Fox is an alternate for the Open de
France.
