Already the leading Australian on the Challenge Tour’s Road to Oman Nick Cullen moved up a further five places in the season long competition with a solid performance at the limited field Rolex Trophy in Switzerland.
Cullen was the only Australian to qualify for the 42-man field and with rounds of 72-67-70-70 finished T17 and picked up a cheque for € 3,600, enough to move from 38th to 34th on the Road to Oman.
He then jumped another spot as Julian Suri, who won the European Tour’s Made in Denmark tournament, was removed from the standings and Cullen now sits 33rd.
The top 15 at the end of the season will graduate to the European Tour, Cullen presently some €20,000 outside that mark with nine events remaining before the season ending Grand Final in Oman.
