The Australians teeing it up at Augusta National will be in good company with tees times now released.
Leading out the Aussie contingent is Adam Scott who is playing with Dustin Johnson but it’s the third member of their group who will be most excited.
South Australian Antonio Murdaca, who won the Asia-Pacific Amateur, will be teeing it up alongside the two superstars.
Murdaca has already played with Scott in a practice round where Australia’s first Masters Champion correctly predicted their pairing.
"I played with him on Saturday afternoon. As a bit of a joke, he said, ‘You might be playing with me and Tiger.’ Looking at the sheet today, I’m playing with him and Dustin," said Murdaca.
"So it’s pretty cool, pretty exciting. I can’t wait for the first round."
But drawing two of the biggest names in world golf also means drawing the crowds and 19-year-old Murdaca is sure to be nervous on Thursday.
"The 18th tee. That’s a bit of a scary tee shot," added Murdaca when questioned about which holes on the famed layout intimidated him.
"I think the first hole will be a little bit like that, as well. With the crowd, don’t know how many people are going to be there, playing with Scott."
"Yeah, it’s going to be amazing, so I can’t wait for it."
Equally looking forward to his first tee shot of the 2015 Masters Tournament is Adam Scott.
"I think coming back here is always a special feeling no matter what, when you get the invitation to come and play," said Scott.
"I came back a couple weeks ago after not being here for nearly a year, and really had a great feeling out on the course and I certainly think that’s grown since winning the tournament in 2013."
"Although, it’s not very easy teeing it up on the first at this tournament any round."
Scott said it’s not surprising to see so many players win multiple Green Jackets, a feat all Aussie golf fans would like to see the Queenslander achieve this week.
"When I won, I had been feeling more and more comfortable here, and then to break through and win, it’s not necessarily a surprise, but it kind of goes with the trend of how I was feeling," added Scott.
"I was feeling better and better playing the course from tee‑to‑green, and then it was a matter of making the putts at the right time throughout the week or on the final hole."
"And then the confidence and belief that you know how to do it; you know your way around this golf course."
"It doesn’t surprise me that quite a few guys have gone on to win multiple green jackets."
