Arnold made an impressive two at Sutera Harbour’s difficult 15th hole in Malaysia then hung on with pars at the final three holes to complete a one stroke victory.

It was the only birdie Arnold made at the hole all week after dropping a shot in the first round and making par in each of the middle two rounds.

As the winner of the 72-hole event Arnold receives full status and will be eligible to play in every tournament of the 2016 One Asia season.

Starting the day two shots behind a group of three leaders which included fellow Australian Michael Choi, Arnold started fast with a birdie at the first.

Another at six saw him to the turn 2-under for the day and he went 3-under after picking up another shot at 11.

His only mistake for the round came at the par-4 13th where he recorded a five before finishing in style with the birdie at 15 to secure the win.

The winner of the Qualifying School is eligible for all tournaments on the 2016 schedule while players ranked second and third will be exempt for most events.

Players finishing from fourth to 20th spot will be eligible for membership and be exempt for some tournaments, that number including Choi (T4) as well as fellow Australians Antonio Murdaca (T15) and Abdul Nabil (T18).

One Asia will host a minimum of nine tournaments in the 2016 season.
