Victorian Cameron Percy returns to the Web.com Tour this week a month after a holiday mishap resulted in a fractured wrist.

Percy is one of five Australians and two Kiwis teeing it up in the Rex Hospital Open in North Carolina, joined by Rhein Gibson, Brett Coletta, Jamie Arnold and Brett Drewitt along with Nick Voke and Tim Wilkinson.

With two top-10s and a worse finish of tied for 35th from his first six events of the season, Percy was sitting around the top 25 on the Web.com Tour moneylist when he took a holiday with his family.

Two hours before their trip was to end Percy slipped and fractured his left wrist, requiring three weeks in a cast and a further two weeks of rehabilitation.

He was due to start a stretch of playing 19 weeks in succession when the accident happened and will now resume his quest to earn a PGA TOUR card for 2020 in 29th position on the Order of Merit.

The additional positive for Percy is that he is making his return at a venue where he has enjoyed recent success, finishing tied for sixth at The Country Club at Wakefield Plantation 12 months ago.

Back-to-back rounds of 66 over the closing 36 holes last year saw Rhein Gibson storm home to finish tied for 14th as he looks to gather some momentum after missing three cuts in his past five starts.

Kiwi Tim Wilkinson is currently the highest-placed Australasian on the Web.com Tour moneylist, sitting in 23rd position thanks largely to three top-10 finishes in his past five starts.

The PGA TOUR-Latino America tour moves into match play mode this week for the Bupa Match Play tournament at Playa del Carmen in Mexico.

Only 64 players are in the field this week with Aussie pair Ryan Ruffels and Harrison Endycott hoping to solidify their place on the Order of Merit in the limited field event.

The elimination matches start on day one at the Playa Paraiso Golf Club with Endycott to face off against American Barrett Kelpin and Ruffels to play Puerto Rican Edward Figueroa.

Ruben Sondjaja is the only Australian in the field at the Bayview Place DCBank Open on the Mackenzie Tour in Canada while on the Champions Tour, Stephen Leaney and David McKenzie are teeing it up in the Principal Charity Classic in Des Moines, Iowa.
