Terry Price was within two shots of posting his first top 10 finish of the season on the European Seniors Tour as he finished top Australian at this week’s Dutch Open.

The53-year-old hasn’t been in his best form this season but was consistent overthe 54 holes at Par 73 The International course in Amsterdam with scores of72-73-72 leaving him T14, nine shots behind runaway winner Ian Woosnam.

MikeHarwood was also within reach of his second top 10 of the season but three backnine bogies on Sunday stalled his charge and he finished a shot behind Price ina share of 16th.

Australia’sbest performed European Senior Tour player Peter Fowler was T10 going into thefinal round but had an uncharacteristic Sunday 79 to fall all the way to T39
