Ryan Fox will tee up in his second career Challenge Tour event this week courtesy of his excellent play and top-10 finish in his first event last week.
Fox joins Scott Arnold and Terry Pilkadaris
in the field for the Scottish Hydro Challenge after he finished T5 in France
last week.
Fox is a two time winner on the PGA Tour of
Australasia and is teeing up on Europe’s secondary Tour for the first time this
year.
While Fox was impressing on debut last week
Challenge Tour regular Terry Pilkadaris was also making headway with his game
finishing outright fourth after taking the first round lead.
The Victorian has made three of four cuts
on the secondary circuit this year with last week easily his best result of the
season.
He moved into the top 45 of the Order of
Merit with last week’s play and if he can continue his good form and play his way
into the top-15 by year’s end will have a card for the European Tour next year.
Scott Arnold is the final Australasian to
get a start this week, the Sydneysider enjoying a solid start to his season
with four made cuts in four events.
Arnold’s worst result this year has been
T30 and with back-to-back top-25 finishes in his last two starts will be
looking to build on a good foundation for the rest of the year.
Geoff
Drakeford, Jack Wilson and Dimi Papadatos are all on the alternates list for
the week.
