Cool and windy conditions greeted players for the Win TV Mallee Regional Pro-Am at the Mildura Golf Resort and the first tournament of the Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series Southern Swing.

The course was in spectacular conditions with firm fast greens but the blustery conditions made scoring extremely difficult with four players leading after the morning round with 6-over 76’s.

In a field that included big names such as Jarrod Lyle and Ashley Hall, it was Craig Scott who came out firing with a great round of 2-under 68 to win by one shot over Order of Merit leader, Luke Hickman.

The Choice Hotels PGA Pro-Am Series Southern Swing now moves to Swan Hill for the Murray Downs Golf & Country Club Pro-Am on Tuesday.
