The
pinnacle event on the E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour is just around the corner with
the Australian PGA Seniors Championship to be played at Mollymook Golf Club
from 24-26 November.

The
prestigious title, which is played for $70,000, has attracted a strong field
which includes defending 2015 Australian Masters Champion Peter Senior, five
time European Tour winner Mike Harwood, three time European Tour winner Peter
O’Malley and seven time European Tour winner Rodger Davis.

These
Legends of Australian golf will be joined by another 86 senior Professionals,
all aiming to be the Australian PGA Seniors Champion.

"I love playing in Australia and it’s great to be home,"
said Peter Senior, who has retired from the Champions Tour in the US.

"Playing with all my friends on the Legends Tour is always
lots of fun. It’s great to catch up, share stories from our seasons competing
on overseas Seniors Tours and reminisce about our times competing as the young
stars on Tour."

"But it is all business when we are on course. We are all
still very competitive which will make for a good showdown at the Australian
PGA Seniors Championship."

Following
some bunker remodelling and an intense maintenance programme, the Hill Top layout
at Mollymook Golf Club is in perfect condition.

of the toughest layouts on the E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour schedule the person who
emerges victorious at Mollymook Golf Club will be a very deserving champion," Hugh
Dolan, Chairman of the E-Z-GO PGA Legends Tour.

the Australian PGA Seniors Championship, and on behalf of all the players I
would like to thank Mollymook Golf Club for opening their course to us."

This year, the PGA Australian PGA Seniors Championship has received
the support of the Shoalhaven City Council.

"We are delighted to welcome the event in our Community and
our wonderful golf course. We are also hoping that this will boost tourism and
the local economy," mentioned, Russ Pigg, General Manager of the Shoalhaven
City Council.

The
event will be played over 54 holes shared between the Professionals and 90
Amateurs for the first two rounds. A 36-hole cut will announce the leading 50 Professionals
to play the final round.
