Kingston Heath continued to elude Team Australia as they
struggle to find their best form during the second round of the ISPS HANDA
World Cup of Golf.

Unhappy with their first round performance, Leishman and
Scott were hoping for a successful day on course playing the fourball format.

However their frustrations continued as the course was
unrecognisable to the Aussie duo.

"It’s just hard when you’re so used to landing it short on
certain holes and bouncing it up and then all of a sudden you’re landing it short
and it’s spinning backwards," said Leishman, with the pair combining for a
round of 4-under 68 to be 2-under the card after the opening two rounds.

"I guess it’s a little frustrating in that respect, but
we’re professional golfers and we need to adjust to that sort of thing. 

"So we’ve had a few days on the course now and it’s been
soft every day. So hopefully we can get that under control, adjust the bounces
right and have a good really low couple of rounds."

Keeping a positive outlook the pair are hoping to produce
their best form on the weekend and chase down the leaders.

"We could be
happier, I’m sure.  I certainly didn’t
play the way I would have liked, but you know, it’s golf and it can do that to
you," said Leishman.

"So we’re
still staying positive, hoping we’ve saved all our good stuff for the weekend."

With Scott further explaining, "We’re going to be a fair way
back.  Tomorrow’s a good day to close a
lot of shots and give ourselves a chance on Sunday, so we need to sharpen up a
bit. 

"We need to get a bit of something going and it would be
nice to get off to a good start tomorrow and have a bit of a run at the
board. 

"You never know.  It’s
a tough format.  Doesn’t mean the leaders
are going to play any good over the weekend, so hopefully we can close the gap
and I think we’ve got a chance Sunday."
