Western
Australian Golf Club Professional Vernon Sexton-Finck and Huntingdale Golf Club
General Manager Stewart Fenton have claimed the honors at the 2016 CCA Invitational
Final.

""Held over
three days with hospitality at the Australian PGA Championship, 11 Club
Professionals and 13 Club Managers were treated to fun filled days on the Gold
Coast with rounds of golf at Lakelands and Sanctuary Cove and two official
functions.

"It was
wonderful to host Club representatives on the Gold Coast. The Coca-Cola Amatil Invitational
is a fantastic networking opportunity and continues to build positive
relationships with customers and industry stakeholders, while encouraging
attendees to open their mindset and identifying opportunities to further grow
their respective businesses," said Bashir Riachi, State Business Manager at
CCA.

South
Australia’s Simon Pope and Tasmania’s Kevin Conlong held the lead after round 1
at Lakelands
Golf Club, with Sexton-Finck just one point adrift. Winner of the same event in
2014 and runner up at the 2015 PGA Professionals Championship, Sexton-Finck battled
the Sanctuary Cove’s windy conditions to card a 1-under par 37 to win by two
over Conlong.

Fenton
who has qualified for the final of the Club Managers section in two consecutive
years, went wire to wire with an opening round of even par 36 points to share
top spot with New South Welshman Andrew Cooper. Fenton backed up his opening
round 34 points, as Cooper fell away giving Fenton a four-point win.

For their
titles, Sexton-Finck wins two return flights to the USA with airline partner
Delta Air Lines, while Fenton has picked up a fully fitted set of Cobra
irons.

Off the
course, finalist enjoyed a day of hospitality at the Australian PGA
Championship in the much talked about Lexus Marquee on the Soniq Million Dollar
hole. Situated on the par-3 16th
hole, 16th guests were treated to a party atmosphere with plenty of
CCA products, music and a great vantage point to watch the final round.
