The field was again presented with perfect conditions on the Lakes course at Yarranwonga with Peter O’Malley teeing off as leader.
However O’Malley would hit three consecutive bogeys on 11, 12 and 13 to open the door for Senior who would eventually finish a four shot winner in the tournament.
Senior, a regular on the international circuit until just last year, was delighted to play at the Yarrawonga Mulwala Golf Club Resort, saying the three courses they played each round were presented as well as any he has played in the world.
Finishing in a three-way-tie for second was Craig Warren, David Merriman and Peter O’Malley.
David Robb from Albury was leading amateur for the second year beating Chris Brooks in a playoff.
This is the second year the event has been hosted by Black Bull and Yarrawonga, Richard Hogg CEO at Yarrawonga Mulwala, is looking forward to hosting a bigger and better edition in 2018.
In an added bonus to the future of the tournament, major sponsors Shepparton BMW committed to the event again in 2018.
