The Moreton Bay Region hosted their second Ladbrokes PGA Legends Tour Pro-Am in three days, with the inaugural Pine Rivers Legends Pro-Am played today.
The Pro-Am was the first event Pine Rivers have hosted since a Ladbrokes PGA Pro-Am Series event was staged back in 2011.
Darren Rix made it back-to-back wins on the Legends Tour alongside Brad Burns and Mark Tickle following their two under par rounds of 68.
It was a huge turnaround for Tickle, who finished last in his previous start at Pacific Harbour on Friday.
“We had a great day out their today, I played well and if it wasn’t for a three putt at my final hole, it would have been an outright win,” said Tickle.
“I can’t be disappointed, I played well and it was great to see only a couple of small adjustments turned my poor form around from Friday.”
The Legends will now enjoy a couple of days off before they prepare for their next event at the Toowoomba Golf Club which tees off on Thursday.
