Martin Peterson of NSW and Ladbrokes Legends Tour Order of Merit leader Tim Elliott battled the tough conditions with some consistent iron play setting up sub par rounds.
Peterson hit 16 greens to post a two round total of 145 backing up his 74 with a 71.
It was Peter Senior who once again returned the best score of the day equalling Peterson’s 71 to give him a one shot lead heading into the third round at Tina Golf Club on Thursday.
